EVERY DAD'S STRUGGLE
Our parents work hard for us, don’t they? They do their best to give us the best of our lives. It is believed by the majority of people that our mom is the one that deserves the highest amount of love, respect, and appreciation. That might be true, but it doesn’t mean that our dads deserve any less. They might not be able to spend a majority of their time with their families. But they are working for their families. He earns not only for all our basic needs but also for our demands. A lot of mothers work too and they are appreciated for it. But the efforts put in by our fathers are mostly overlooked or not appreciated enough.
Giving them credit for their hard work makes them feel happy and valuable. They do not expect anything in return apart from the love that must be reciprocated. They might be harsh with us sometimes. But that is only because they care a lot about us. They want to see us get somewhere in life where we are happy. Nothing could ever match the efforts made by them. And maybe that’s why they are often referred to as the real superheroes of our life.
Usually, people talk about a mother’s love and affection, in which a father’s love often gets ignored. A mother’s love is talked about repeatedly everywhere, in movies, in shows, and more.
Yet, what we fail to acknowledge is the strength of a father which often goes unnoticed. Father’s a blessing which not many people have in their lives. It would also be wrong to say that every father is the ideal hero for their kids because that is not the case.

Importance of father:
Anyone can be a father of a child, but being a dad takes a lifetime. Fathers play a role in every child’s
life that cannot be filled by others. This role can have a large impact on a child and help shape him or her into the person they become.Fathers, like mothers, are pillars in the development of a child’s emotional well-being. Children look to their fathers to lay down the rules and enforce them. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes inner growth and strength. Studies have shown that when fathers are affectionate and supportive, It greatly affects a child’s cognitive and social development. It also instills an overall sense of well-being and self confidence.
Responsibilities of father:
- Father is Always a Protector:Children feel safe and secured when they have their father around.
- Opens Up the World for the Kids:Father is like a big window that opens up the entire world in front of the children. The children start getting acquainted with the entire world through the eyes of their father.
- Unconditional love:Fathers have the responsibility to make sure that their children know how much their fathers love
- and they love them without any conditions.
- Showing love and respect for the partner fathers must show their love and respect to their partner. Only when fathers show respect and love to their partners, children would learn to respect their mothers and other elders.
- Spending quality time children always appreciate when they find their father spending quality time with them.
Everyone would describe their fathers differently. They all have different equations and experiences. My father and I may not always speak but understand each other well, while there might be many who talk about many things with their father. Fathers are said to provide a sense of security and safety among daughters, which is something my father has always given me. Many studies do suggest that daughters look for a man who may be similar to how their father was with them; if he was nurturing or strong. Sons see their fathers as role models, whom they should grow up to be like and imitate their behavior. My father has always supported me to chase after my dreams and pursue what interests me, knowing the risks. He believes that everyone must make mistakes to learn from them. Fathers are known to be risk-takers in this way. They help to instill problem-solving abilities so that we can do better. Since time immemorial, there have been many stereotypes about how fathers are the breadwinners, and mothers must take care of the house. In the evolving age of feminism, mothers are now working and pursuing careers, while fathers help take care of the household. My father has always supported my mother’s career and has always appreciated the balance that she has between work and home. He helps her with chores and even makes sure to have food on the table when she is busy with work. My father has taught me that family is essential, and no matter what, my family will always be there for me. While some fathers may seem strict and disciplined, it is because they want their children to learn how to deal with the real world. Fathers have an essential role to play when it comes to their children, forming relationships, as they are influenced by how their father treats the family. My father has always treated my brother and me as equals and has always treated my mother with respect. As mothers, they, too, are an important part of the emotional well-being of a child. Children still want to make their mothers and fathers proud. They seek emotional and physical comfort from their fathers in tough times and look to them for enforcing rules. Fathers also help build a child’s self-esteem. My father has helped me to be proud of who I am and stand up for what I believe. He has taught me to be true to myself. A father takes up all kinds of responsibilities, from providing for the family to making sure that their children are safe.
They might not be able to spend a majority of their time with their families. But they are working for their families. He earns not only for all our basic needs but also for our demands. Moreover, our society has a mindset according to which dads must not stay home. They are supposed to be at work. A lot of mothers work too and they are appreciated for it. But the efforts put in by our fathers are mostly overlooked or not appreciated enough.
Our dads have dreams of their own but they end up sacrificing most of their dreams just for their families. Giving them credit for their hard work makes them feel happy and valued. They do not expect anything in return apart from the love that must be reciprocated.
They might be harsh with us sometimes. But that is only because they care a lot about us. They want to see us get somewhere in life where we are happy. This also forms the reason why they set boundaries and limits for us. They’ve already been through the part of life that we are going through right now. By setting limits, they make us aware of the trouble that may befall us.
Besides, they always will have the perfect solution for any problem that we have. They’d always protect us and make their family feel secure. Nothing could ever match the efforts made by them. And maybe that’s why they are often referred to as the real superheroes of our life.
Father’s Day is one such day to celebrate fatherhood and its influence on our lives. It is to thank our fathers for what they do for us every day. It falls in June, on the third Sunday. Father’s day will be celebrated on 21st June in 2020. Fathers are essential figures in our lives.
short stories ❤❤❤❤❤
A person whom I always admire in my life is only my dear father. I still remember all my childhood moments with my father. They are the real reasons for my happiness and joy. Because of who I am, because my mother was always busy in the kitchen and other household works and these are 'my father' who celebrate with me and my sister. I think he is the world's most distinct father. I consider myself very blessed by having such a father in my life. I always thank God for allowing me to be born into such a good father's family.
He is a very humble and peaceful person. They never complain about me and take all my mistakes easily and make me feel all my mistakes with very humility. He is the head of our family and helps every family member in times of bad times. To tell me, they share the shortcomings and achievements of their lives. They have their own business of online marketing but still do not pressure or attract them to move forward in the same area, instead, they always promote me for whatever I want to be in my life. He is a good father, not because he helps me, but because of his knowledge, strength, helpful nature and especially handling the people correctly.
They always respect their parents, i.e my grandparents, and pay attention to them all the time. I still remember when I was young, my grandparents usually used to talk about my father's bad guys. They told me that your father is a very good person in his life, be like him. These are 'my father' who want to see everyone happy in the family and always ask whenever anyone is unhappy, they solve their problems. They love my mother very much and take care of her and advise them to rest when they get tired from domestic things. 'My father is my inspiration. He is always ready to help me with my school work and also go to my P T M to discuss my behavior and performance in class.
'My father was born in a very poor family, but due to his patience, hard work, and helpful nature, he is currently one of the wealthiest people in the city. My friends usually call me very fortunate when having such a father's son. I usually laugh at such comments and tell my father, they also laugh, they say that they do not tell the truth but the truth is that I am happy that I have a son like you. They tell me to be what I want and always believe in myself.
